Scenic Walk: Any time of year is a good time to hike or walk around the scenic Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire. This week, UVRide is proud to present a UVPride 2-minute Tour of the Wilder Multi-Use Path. Easy to access and enchanting, the paved path winds from Wilder at the intersection of Colonial and Rte. 5 all the way to the Dothan Brook School.
Chickens and Turkeys and Goats —Oh My! In the video (or when you hike the path yourself) watch for the backyard turkey, chickens, and goat that grace the path with their calls. In addition to these nosy pathside pets, the video includes kids enjoying the weekly DBS Walk-n-Ride and some neighbors walking their dogs. Just a couple weeks ago when we filmed and took pics, the fall foliage was just beginning to "peak" out. How lucky are we? What a delight!
Trail Finder: Whether you live in the Upper Valley or are visiting, a great resource to discover trails in the area is the Trail Finder. The Upper Valley Trail Alliance created this mobile-friendly tool which can search by activity, town, trail name, or categories like, Pet Friendly or Wheelchair Accessible. Check out the Wilder Multi-Use Path on Trail Finder.
